How to crop a PDF

  2. 2Drag the frame on the page preview, or let the tool detect the margins.
  3. 3Apply the crop to all pages or only the current one, then click Crop PDF.

Why use this tool

  • Automatic margin detection

One click finds the content area and removes surrounding whitespace.

  • Precise control

Drag the frame’s edges and corners to set exactly what stays visible.

  • Local processing

The PDF is cropped in your browser — it is never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

Is the cropped content deleted?

No. Cropping hides the area outside the frame, as in Acrobat. To remove information permanently, use Redact PDF.

Can I crop pages differently?

Yes. Choose “Only this page”, crop it, and repeat for other pages before saving.

Will the page size change when printing?

Yes, the cropped area becomes the new page size, so the page prints without the removed margins.
