Why use this tool

  • Text or logo

Use any text in several fonts, including accented characters, or a PNG/JPG logo with transparency.

  • Correct on rotated pages

The watermark is placed relative to the page as you see it, even when pages are rotated or landscape.

  • Stays on your computer

Documents are stamped locally in your browser and never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

Can I watermark only some pages?

Yes. Choose “Selected pages” and type the page numbers or ranges, for example 1-3, 7.

Can the watermark go behind the text?

Yes, tick “Place behind page content”. Note that on scanned pages the scan itself may cover a watermark placed behind it.

Can someone remove the watermark?

A watermark is added as page content, which makes it harder but not impossible to remove. For stronger protection, also flatten and password-protect the file.
